'You can do anything as long as you have focus!'
Since 2012 I have been involved with the company as a trainer and contact person for fine-tuning training sessions with our clients. Very proud that I am part of a team that is constantly looking for improvement, quality, and the impact for our participants. Having and keeping focus is achievable for everyone if you know how your brain works!

"It was fantastic to hear from one of our trainers that the Focus Academy is a tribe of like-minds.
I could never have expressed it so beautifully myself. It tells me that we succeed in helping people with a great deal of inspiration and thus having an impact. I also teach our method to my studying children. When I studied myself, I, unfortunately, didn't know enough about this. That would have made life a lot easier then :-)"
Connected to Focus Academy since 2020
After 25 years of government, the switch to the beautiful and versatile world of "Focus" was a great decision!

In this challenging job, my learning and development experiences, combined with my administrative experience, come together perfectly. And I don't shy away from a challenge in sales. The message 'lifelong learning keeps you sharp and young' is something I like to share with everyone:-)

"I think freedom is a powerful feeling. As a trainer, I work easier and more pleasantly through it. It is great if I make someone feel free. More free in looking at other possibilities and new ways.
The brain training that I give for Focus Academy fits in seamlessly with this: understanding how your brain works and adjust your way of working. Then you achieve enormous freedom: faster-thinking speed, acting faster, and being distracted much less quickly. Ingredients that make life a lot better! "

Robin Pera is very experienced as a trainer in the areas of leadership, personal development and team developer.
"Everyone is replaceable but not interchangeable. Learning by doing, and that with a lot of fun! After the insight, it is ultimately about what behavior belongs to which change, and experimenting helps enormously! I support experimenting, usually with themes like increasing influence, being able to manage more, and to make teams work better together. My motto is that I believe in the added value of the individual for the benefit of the greater whole, and that a small change at the outset causes a major change in the longer term."

Certified trainer with a specialization: brain training, effective work and (non-verbal) communication & truth-finding
"Training people in the field of brain management is great fun. I love translating scientific knowledge into solutions. I know how it feels when the pressure within a company increases and that burnout due to overload is a growing problem. My goal is to make lasting changes in behavioral patterns. I coach people to use a more efficient approach to daily work so that they focus on core tasks, and a better result is achieved.
To clear my own head, you can often find me on the beach, with a photo camera in my hand or as an actor in the theater."

"As a Senior Professional Organizer, I train people with a high workload to get more rest and overview. This is achieved by being aware of what is coming at you on a working day and setting priorities. By examining your work habits, one experiences less work pressure and a more productive, more energetic working day.
The Focus Academy provides insight into how the brain works and how to deal with all the daily incentives optimally. It's a great experience for everybody!"
Trainer since 2013, joined Focus Academy in 2019.
"Helping people and organizations to get more out of their hours is one of my passions. I am convinced that with the right ambition and willingness to cooperate, outstanding results can be achieved. A collaboration with Focus Academy is, therefore, logical to me.
The objectives of Focus Academy to make an impact on personal effectiveness and my personal goals are precisely in line with each other. The result of the training is not only that you become more productive, but it also gives more satisfaction. It provides peace of mind, and it raises the awareness that you have a lot of influence on the stress level that you experience. Or as Cruijff said: you will only see it when you realize it."

Nina de Leeuw
Trainer since 2017, joined Focus Academy in 2019.
Nina de Leeuw is Professional Organizer, trainer, and coach. She helps professionals who, due to a high workload, do not get to the tasks that are important to them and therefore lose track of their work. By teaching them, among other things, how to set the right priorities, make a breathing plan, keep focus, manage e-mail, and prevent procrastination, they experience more rest and get more done.
“My motivation is to inspire others and help them change their behavior so that they can continue and enjoy. It is important to know how to deal with the amount of work. But also how to deal with all the distractions and incentives that come to us every day. And this is where my goals and those of the Focus Academy fit in nicely. If you know how your brain works, it becomes easier to manage your day, and you get more done! ”
Trainer since 2012, joined Focus Academy in 2019
Trainer and job coach, specialized in (non-verbal) communication, commercial skills and personal branding. And since joining Focus Academy, also working on personal effectiveness.
"I know the struggle with keeping focus all too well. You may very well have a schedule, but in busy times all an 'important' e-mail or phone call can shift your attention. Knowing how your brain deals with the daily flow of continuous stimuli and how you can influence this, not only makes optimal functioning easier, but also much more effective. That's why the Focus Academy's brain training courses are not just a gift, but a crucial tool to calm down in the daily hectic of both your professional and private life".
